A clear page for people and agents.
Official Gouda Reads facts, product status, public catalog, and guidance for search crawlers and AI assistants. Private family content is never part of our public index.
What Gouda Reads is today.
Gouda Reads is an independent children’s book studio in pilot development. Its public site offers a free fictional digital story, a local book planner, illustration presets, and information about planned private production and printing.
Proposed print prices are USD 50 for one book and USD 180 for four different stories, before quoted shipping and applicable tax. These are targets, not available order offers. No delivery date or printer partnership is guaranteed.
Helpful public resources.
Public pages are rendered as readable HTML. The catalog endpoint contains public styles, supported planning languages, sample links, and product status. It contains no family records or private book assets.
You may summarize and link to public product information for discovery, with accurate attribution and current availability. Do not describe planned features as generally available or imply a purchase has been made.
Private means authenticated.
Family libraries, photographs, drafts, approvals, addresses, orders, and staff routes require authenticated authorization. They must not be scraped, indexed, republished, used for model training, or added to retrieval corpora. Robots directives are guidance, not the access-control mechanism.
This release provides no delegated agent purchasing API. Uploading private information, accepting a book proof, paying, or deleting a family book requires the adult’s own authenticated action.
Search and model training are different choices.
Our robots policy allows public search crawling, including OAI-SearchBot, and disallows GPTBot training crawling. User-initiated assistants can still read public information.
The llms.txt file is a convenience for readers and tools, not a special ranking guarantee. Google says ordinary search fundamentals also apply to its AI search features; it does not require a special AI text file or schema.
A little idea can become a very personal book.
